Meet Dr. John Rubenstrunk
As a father of three, I understand the importance of high-quality health care that is geared towards making sure every child has a positive dental experience. Being a father during dental school really opened up my eyes and heart to pediatric dentistry – it was a natural and comfortable fit from the moment I started my first pediatric clinical rotation. I enjoy watching my patients grow and mature through the years and personally getting to know them and their families.
While it is important to explain each step of a dental exam or treatment, I believe the most important aspect of pediatric dentistry is making a strong connection with your patients outside of the dental chair. Talking to patients about their interests, hobbies, and other events in their lives help make patients feel like they are more at home rather than at the dental office. Kids love this one-on-one attention and, I’ll have to admit, it allows me to bring out the inner-kid in me, too.

Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with my family outdoors enjoying the many opportunities that living in Colorado affords such as fly fishing, mountain biking and golfing in the summers and skiing the slopes and snowmobiling in the winters. I also enjoy cruising around on my motorcycle taking in all of the beautiful mountain scenery.
